Located near EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, nestled on Crescent Lake, you will find Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. This deluxe property is a venue in itself, and stunning from every angle.

Resort Theming

The theme of this resort is turn of the century, northeast Coney Island/Atlantic City vibes. So fun, whether day or night! Just down from the BoardWalk Inn is an actual Boardwalk, lined with fun shops, unique dining, and swinging nightlife. You will truly feel as though you have entered into a Northeast beach town when visiting this resort and there is something fun for everyone!

There are two additional leisure pools with spas, for guests who would prefer a more quiet and relaxing swim. Who has been here and remembers the clown head slide?! IYKYK. haha Thankfully it has been replaced and now has a fun image of Mickey and Minnie. ;)

There are water taxis you can take to get from the resort to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. You can easily walk into Epcot, and can even walk to Hollywood Studios. It's five minutes to Epcot and closer to 15-20 to Hollywood Studios depending on who is walking with you.

Buses will take you to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, the waterparks, and Disney Springs.

Resort Amenities

When you are determining which resort is right for your stay at Walt Disney World, keep in mind the activities that each provides and what would be fun for your family. BoardWalk Inn provides additional entertainment for families including:

  • Roasting marshmallows at the campfire;

  • Movies under the stars nightly, located on Village Green;

  • Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf (nearby);

  • Surrey Bike rentals;

  • Tennis and Pickleball;

  • Several jogging paths;

  • Spa and Fitness Center;

  • Playground at Luna Park; and

  • Arcade games.

Night Life

The Atlantic Dance Hall is on the Boardwalk, and is a fun option for adults 21+. This nightclub plays hits from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

Jelly Rolls is a dueling piano bar with a lively atmosphere. This venue will close in the middle of April 2025 and we are hoping to hear where it will resurface as it is definitely a favorite adult venue.

This would be the ideal resort for you if…

You like to start your day with a sunrise stroll or enjoy the nightlife of a boardwalk. You can enjoy a morning walk along a quiet Crescent Lake or wind down with a cozy nightcap at the Belle Vue Lounge. There’s something undeniably special about this resort. It’s not just about the close proximity to the parks (though that’s certainly a bonus), it’s about the sense of escape it offers, transporting you to a time when life felt a little slower, and every moment was filled with possibility.

From the delightful sounds of street performers in the evening to the quiet moments spent watching the boats glide by, the BoardWalk Inn is a place where memories are made. Whether it’s your first stay or your tenth, there’s always something new to discover here—whether it’s a hidden corner or a cherished tradition you can’t wait to relive.

It’s more than just a resort; it’s a little slice of Disney magic that’s perfect for creating your own stories, your own memories, and your own moments of wonder.

So, until my next stay, I’ll keep dreaming of that perfect blend of nostalgia, luxury, and fun—and I’m sure I’ll be back soon to make even more memories at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
